It's difficult for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have long been mastered.

This is the squad that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to six more T20 titles, and earlier maintained over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, those for the achievement hunters, are what's still available for a team that has achieved everything.

The fact it required up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, taking back their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the pitchers that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

She was challenged by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, out to the 22-year-old seamer in every game, but here that only provided Healy's inspiration.

A single was taken off the bowler's initial ball and from there Healy was on her way.

"An opportunity to take the field and lock in a contest with her and simply enjoy myself in that regard, sort of got me going," stated Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 pitches - her quickest at the World Cup - and her century in 84 deliveries while she attacked short-pitched balls, hitting 21 fours and three sixes.

When she was removed the team needed 66 more at run per delivery - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the confidence to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, should it happen, we believe we can achieve it."

Those words will be the final thing competing nations at this tournament want to hear.

In recent days a sense they will win from any position has only strengthened - this victory coming after victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a last-four spot may likely be confirmed.
